Though he probably should've thought that through first. Maybe had Mabel come with him.. because his arms are full of bags and he can't seem to get the door open. So, he'll just. Knock on it. With his forehead. And hope that Mabel comes to his rescue..]
[Mabel was wondering about that. Maybe he was out with friends! That would be good for him...or maybe...what if he found a girl?! She'd spent the afternoon coming up with all sorts of cute girls he might have found, startling out of her daydream at the knock. Who's knocking? A visitor?!]

[She's quick to hope off the couch and dash to the door, Waddles at her heels. And when she opens it--]
Whoa! What's all this Dipper?
[At least he doesn't have to ask her to take some of those bags.]

Yeah, I know I mean-- It's not healthy, Mabel. [He starts taking the contents out of the bags, revealing fresh fruit, vegetables, bread, meat, noodles.. basically anything someone looking to cook would need.]
[Mabel's quiet as she watches, looking through one of the bags she'd brought in.]
...I don't know, we're growing kids! Isn't that the kind of stuff we're supposed to eat? I'm pretty sure that's totally healthy for us! At least until we're like. As old as mom and dad.
I've gained like, ten pounds in the last month! [He puts his hands on his hips, frowning.]
Do you wanna be like Gideon, Mabel? Really unhealthy and probably going to die before we enter highschool? [Okay maybe he's exaggerating a little but they can't seriously keep living off of this kind of food forever. At least when they stayed with Stan he cooked them real food..]
Okay you are tooootally exaggerating there. First of all there is no way I would get fat. Unlike certain lazy boys I could mention, I get plenty of exercise! I run around the city all the time! Second of all he made it to elementary school. I'm pretty sure we'd make it to highschool just fine.

He rolls his eyes a little and continues pulling stuff out of the bags.]
Yeah. Being the responsible twin and caring brother that I am, I've decided that I'm gonna be in charge of cooking from now on. [A smile finds it's way on his face as he pulls out a bottle of strawberry milk, handing it to Mabel with a shrug.]
[She looks kind of skeptical until that milk is handed to her, at which point she is all grins.]
Well if you are the responsible twin and caring brother, then I guess that means I'll have to be the smart twin and loving sister and help out! Also make sure the fire extinguisher is nearby.
[Here! Let her help you pull stuff out and start putting some away. That is until she decides to hang off him a little.]
Also the annoying one. What's for dinner? When's dinner gonna be done? Is it done yet? What do you meaaaan you haven't started it yet? Dipper I'm huuuungryyyyyyyy!!
[And now it's her turn to laugh, giving him a squeeze before letting go.]
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Okaaay. No but seriously, what are you making for dinner then? Now that we're talking about it I am really starting to get hungry.
Oh... I dunno. What do you want for dinner? [He starts ruffling through the bags again, until he finds a big hefty book of recipes from one of them, handing it over.]
I just kind of.. bought a lot of basic stuff that I saw listed in some of the recipes here.
[Dipper she wasn't judging you or anything. She just kind of hums a little in reply, still flipping through the pages. Though after about five or so she replies.]
