[So much had happened that day. On top of dealing with the aftermath of Dipper and Mahiru's death, there was finding that hand and that explosion...those scared her. She didn't know who was behind either of those deaths, and that was terrifying. She had no idea what to think of that, and the one person she'd normally discuss things with, well...she'd killed last night. And thinking about that just twisted her insides into little, guilty knots for a number of reasons. She wanted to talk to someone, but she didn't want to seem suspicious talking to the other VIPs during the day.

Maybe just talking at someone would help?

But she couldn't face Dipper's grave yet...and there was someone she owed an apology. So, before the trial, she decided to spend a little quiet time at Kuzuryuu's grave.]

...I'm sorry Hiko. I made you make that dumb promise and now I'm the one killing people. I never intended to! But it's a good thing...it's good that you guys went out that way. It means you got to wake up! And I'm sure things are a lot better wherever you are than it is here...I hope you guys understand now.

[Okay. That explosion earlier was bad. This was bad. This was the second person to blow up for no discernible reason and they needed to start telling people it wasn't them. Peko was really the only person she felt she could trust at that time, though...she was a little scared to tell her. What if she told everyone else? What if she got her executed because she didn't believe her?

...but she had to try. If people didn't start learning the truth, they were going to be in danger trying to find the wrong people. So directly after the explosion and things had settled down a little, she found the woman in question and pulled her to a quiet place in the carnival to talk.]

Um...P-Peko? I can trust you, right? If I haven't done anything bad...you'll forgive me right?
